God-Complex

A Psychoanalytically oriented definition of a God-Complex: The envelopment of the Superego (Morals/Rules) by the Ego (Sense of autonomy) and this new "super-entity's" subsequent insinuation over a now flattened, two dimensionally isolated Id (Desire/Impulses). There is 3-dimensionality when all three psychic entities are freely interactive, but when one takes priority or dominance over another the power structure is disrupted and harmonic reality--in three dimensions--collapses.
